Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney has launched the office’s first Cold Case Unit, dedicated to solving unsolved homicides and its investigations.

This specialized team, which includes investigators, analysts, and forensic experts, will work closely with Suffolk County Police Department’s Homicide Squad, using cutting-edge techniques like genetic genealogy.

This partnership is determined to bring justice to long-forgotten cases and grieving families.
