MEET THE DA
As the District Attorney, it is my job to prosecute those who break local and state laws, on behalf of the People of Suffolk County. I was elected to seek the truth, deter crime, promote the common good, and to protect the safety and quality of life of all Suffolk County residents.
Working with our government, law enforcement, and community partners, my office convicts the guilty, protects the innocent, and supports victims.
These important duties of the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office are fulfilled each day through the efforts of over 500 employees, including Assistant District Attorneys and investigators, who are dedicated to upholding the ethical Rules of Professional Conduct and pursuing fair and equal justice for all.
Fairly, efficiently, and ethically prosecuting all offenses occurring within Suffolk County.

Investigating criminal activity and enterprises both proactively and in coordination with Federal, State, and local law enforcement partners.
Leveraging the full potential of modern technology to detect, disrupt, and eliminate massive criminal enterprises.
Enhancing community outreach programs in order to reduce criminal justice contact, re-offense, addiction, quality of life crime, and major index crime.
Expanding corruption and anti-gang investigative operations through next-generation technology and methodology.
Providing professional guidance and essential services to crime victims.
Developing and maintaining ongoing dialogue with all Suffolk residents, regardless of cultural, national, religious, economic, and linguistic differences, to foster compassion and trust.
